The Brighton Hub

A low-pressure space for connection, community, and belonging

The Lonely Club: Brighton Hub

The Lonely Club: Brighton Hub builds on the success of our monthly Sunday Strolls & Socials in London, creating an inclusive, low-pressure space for people who don’t always feel they fit into conventional social settings.

This is a place to simply be. To connect without pressure. To feel part of something - on your own terms.

Whether you come to talk, listen, or just exist alongside others, you are welcome here. Optional activities like journaling, creative exercises, and games are available to ease interaction - but there’s never any expectation to join in.

When and how the hub works

Our Brighton Hub runs weekly sessions starting from April 2026 at the Just Life Hub (London Road, Brighton).

🕛 Time: 12–4pm
📍 Location: Just Life Hub, Brighton (London Road)

This is a drop-in space, so there’s:

  • No need to book

  • No pressure to arrive on time

  • No expectation to stay the whole session

You’re welcome to bring your lunch, come and go as you need, and stay for as long as feels right for you.

Whether you pop in for 10 minutes or the full afternoon, the space is here for you.

If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to get in touch—we’re always happy to help you feel more comfortable before coming along.

Why this space matters

Finding meaningful connection isn’t always easy - especially if traditional social environments feel overwhelming, performative, or inaccessible.

The Brighton Hub exists to offer something different: a calm, inclusive “third space” where you can show up exactly as you are.

Our impact so far

Our 6-week pilot showed just how needed this space is:

  • 90% of attendees would recommend the hub to others

  • 90% felt more connected to themselves and others

  • The vast majority felt welcomed, comfortable, and supported

Attendees consistently highlighted the low-pressure, inclusive atmosphere as what made the biggest difference:

“The low-pressure atmosphere and the feeling of being welcomed… I never felt left out whenever I was there.” - Hub attendee

What’s next?

Thanks to a £5,000 grant from the Enjoolata Foundation, we’re now able to grow.

We’ll be continuing with weekly sessions at the Just Life Hub in Brighton, with plans to expand into:

  • Creative workshops

  • Specialist sessions

  • Coaching and reflective activities

  • Quiet breakout spaces for rest and regulation

This is just the beginning.
